Awards Rankings!

At America on Stage, we believe every dancer, team, and director should be highly recognized for their excellent achievement. Accordingly, we offer the best awards program anywhere! Every dancer receives an individual award for every event competed (including team). Every team receives a team award for every event competed. Every studio receives at least one large trophy. And then at a special Awards Extravaganza at the end of every level (immediately after all scores have been tallied) we present overall awards and a fun sportsmanship and spirit awards.

Directors of the Year SUPERStars

What are Director's of the year?
Each person that competes at an America On Stage competition receives points when they win.

25 for 1st, 15 for 2nd and 5 for 3rd.
(Pro winners receive 35 for 1st, 25 for 2nd and 15 for 3rd).

The amount of points won is multiplied by the number of people dancing. (i.e. a team with 10 people wins first. They receive 250 points (10 x 25)).

All the points won in a studio are totaled and listed by the Studio Director. Points are added throughout the year and you can see the rankings of every studio online!

At Nationals, the 10 highest point directors are crowned Directors of the Year.

What are SUPERStar Awards?
Every time you compete, you earn points. 25 for 1st, 15 for 2nd and 5 for 3rd. We add up a person's points for all their individual events, and a separate total for each duet.

Event SUPERStars
At each event we award the top 5 Individual point winners in each level with a special SUPERStar award.

National Yearly SUPERStars
These points are also added all year long from each event you compete and those individuals and duets with the most points at the end of the year are awarded at Nationals!

Dancers are awarded in OVERALL INDIVIDUAL, OVERALL DUET and OVERALL TEAM in EVERY LEVEL for the National Yearly SUPERStar awards.
