Nationals at Lagoon

1. The first weekend, Open Nationals Rocky Mtn (Clogging) covers all Novice, Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, and Championship levels in clogging. Jr. All-Americans and All-Americans are awarded in the Overalls as well as Overall Teams and Overall Studios.
   Showcase Spectacular features all levels in Dance (Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Tap).
   Both competitions happen at the same time on side by side stages. Open Nationals Rocky Mtn (Clogging) and Showcase Spectacular do not require qualifying.
2. The second weekend, Open Dance Nationals features the best of the best in Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Tap categories. Three stages are used to accommodate all the dancers, making it one of the largest dance competitions in the nation. Pro division winners compete for MVP National Champion awards in every solo and duet/trio category. Director's of the Year are chosen, and Overall Teams and Overall Studios are chosen. Open Dance Nationals does not require qualifying.
3. The third weekend, Nationals features all levels of clogging from Novice through Professional. The best of the best compete for Grand Champion titles, Jr. All-Americans, All-Americans, All-Star All-Americans, MVP National Champion Solo, Duet and Team titles, and Pro teams compete for National Championships in each category. Nationals does require qualifying.

In 2006, over 6,000 dancers competed over three weekends.
