In an effort to make sure we are taking sure of all
dancers, directors, parents, spectators and attendees, we have the
following information about our events and the COVID-19 virus.
At America On Stage, under the COVID
restrictions, we plan on doing our events in one of two ways.
These are based on the facility allowances, the city's Health Department's
protocols, and America On Stage's Covid - 19 safety procedures.
As always, we strive to hold as safe an event as possible and will do all we can
to make the competition as awesome as possible.
Our two possible schedules are as such:
1) We will run the event in STUDIO BLOCKS.
Each event is assigned a set amount of time where they come, dance all their
events and then receive their awards.
The lower levels are all adjudicated and will be awarded their awards during the
studio block.
The highest level (Advanced in Dance and Pro in Clogging) will not be awarded as
we need all the highest level to compete and scores to be compared. Once all the
highest level is completed, we will have an awards show that evening online
where everyone can see the results and we will get the awards to each studio!
2) If allowed, we will have categories at the
facility at the same time spaced socially distanced and compete CATEGORIES
TOGETHER.
As dictated by the facility and cite, MASKS
will be required in all areas except on stage while dancing.
AUDIENCE MEMBERS will be allowed as the facility allows. We will let you
know how many can attend, and we will livestream the event so everyone at home
can watch.
In case of cancellation, full refunds will be issued. We will make sure and take
care of our directors always.
We'll keep you updated as much as we know for each event. Feel free to contact
us with any questions at
competitions@americaonstage.org.
If we are able to hold our events with
categories competing together, it will look like below.
If we do studio blocks, studios may dance at any time during the weekends days
and we will update it right after our first pre-registration is past.
We wish everyone to take care of themselves, and
we will see everyone on stage when everything goes as right as
possible.
